<br>Der Nasenstecker, auch Nostril-Piercing oder [[Special:MyLanguage/Nasenwandpiercing|Nasenwandpiercing]] genannt, gehört heute neben [[Special:MyLanguage/Ohrring|Ohrring]] und [[Special:MyLanguage/Bauchnabelpiercing (auch BNP oder Nabelpiercing)|Bauchnabelpiercing]] zu den beliebtesten Piercings. Er wird entweder durch den linken oder rechten Nasenflügel gestochen. Anders als beim Ohrring wird dafür nicht die [[Special:MyLanguage/Ohrlochpistole|Ohrlochpistole]] benutzt. Diese wurde ursprünglich zur Kennzeichnung von Kuhohren konstruiert und ist nicht für das harte Gewebe der Nase geeignet. Im schlimmsten Fall wird nicht nur das Gewebe um den Stichkanal herum beschädigt. Die Pistole kann auch stecken bleiben. Dann hilft nur noch der Besuch beim Arzt! Jeder professionelle Piercer sticht ein Nasenlochpiercing daher mit einer hygienischen Einwegnadel.<br><br />
<br><b>Heilung. </b>Die Heilungsphase dauert bei komplikationslosem Verlauf etwa drei bis vier Wochen. Da die Nasenschleimhäute gut durchblutet sind, wächst das Piercingloch bei Entfernung übrigens auch schnell wieder zu.<br><br />
<br><b>Gefahren. </b>Wichtig ist, dass das Piercing nicht über der Wölbung des Nasenflügels angebracht wird, da ansonsten die Gefahr besteht, den Trigeminus-Gesichtsnerv zu beschädigen.<br />
