<br><b>Heilung. </b>Einem Septum musst du ordentlich Zeit zum Heilen einräumen. Zwischen zwei und vier Monate dauert es, bis alles abgeheilt ist. <br><b>Gefahren. </b>Trotz der [[Special:MyLanguage/Schmerzen|Schmerzen]] ist ein Septum in der Regel ein unkompliziertes Piercing. Voraussetzung dafür ist natürlich, dass es fachgerecht von einem Profi gestochen wurde und sorgfältig nachbehandelt wird. Wenn du dein Septum lange behalten möchtest, solltest du den Schmuck allerdings nicht für einen längeren Zeitraum herausnehmen. Der Stichkanal verengt sich an dieser Stelle nämlich innerhalb kürzester Zeit und das erneute Einsetzen wird schwierig. Das Risiko sinkt, wenn der Stichkanal auf über 2 Millimeter aufgedehnt wird. Bei dieser Schmuckstärke kannst du den Schmuck jederzeit bedenkenlos für eine Weile entfernen.<br />
