Anti-Tragus-Piercing

Piercing type

The anti-tragus is placed in the lower, small cartilage fold diagonally opposite the tragus, i.e. exactly above the earlobe. Since this piercing, similar to the Rook-Piercing, can be very painful, many opt for the somewhat less uncomfortable Punching, which is also a good alternative for rook and anti-helix piercings.

Healing. If the anti-tragus piercing is done, the healing phase takes about three to six months. If it is punched, it takes about two to four weeks.

Risks. In the worst case, it leads to inflammation.
