Cutting

Cutting

Cutting is one of the most extreme forms of Body modification. It’s a form of scarification, or decorative scarring, using a sharp instrument to cut decorative tattoo-like patterns.

Healing: The wounds from cutting may take a long time to heal, depending on your constitution. Careful hygiene is essential, and you’ll need to protect them from dirt and from rubbing against clothes.

Risks: Cutting carries a high health risk, as it creates open wounds that may become infected. If these don’t heal well, they may also form scars in the wrong places. And unlike tattoos, it’s hard to create precise lines using cutting scars, as they’re difficult to control.
