<br>Als Tragus bezeichnet man das Piercing durch das Knorpelgewebe direkt vor dem Gehörgang, also den Knorpellappen, der das Ohr mit dem Kopf verbindet. Im Gegensatz zum [[Special:MyLanguage/Ohrring|Ohrring]] wird der Tragus nicht mit einer [[Special:MyLanguage/Ohrlochpistole|Ohrlochpistole]] durchstochen. Die ist nur für weiches Gewebe zulässig und für den harten Ohrknorpel nicht geeignet. Die Härte des Gewebes bringt es auch mit sich, dass ein Tragus-Piercing beim Stechen mit stärkeren [[Special:MyLanguage/Schmerzen|Schmerzen]] verbunden ist und länger braucht, bis es abgeheilt ist. <br>
