The bridge piercing goes through the thin skin at the top of your nasal bridge, between your eyes, and uses a barbell or bananabell.

Healing: All being well, your bridge piercing will heal in five to eight months.

Risks: A bridge piercing demands a great deal of sensitivity and experience on the piercer’s part. There are some important nerves passing through this area of your face, and if the hole becomes infected, it can cause serious damage. The piercing must be precisely positioned and carefully looked after, and any complications dealt with as quickly as possible.
