A Madison piercing is placed at the front of the neck, usually horizontally, on the suprasternal notch between the collarbones.


Healing: A Madison piercing will normally heal within three months if you keep it clean and well looked after, and make sure your clothes don’t rub on it. Even after this, careful hygiene is important.


Risks: Unfortunately, Madison piercings are prone to growing out, as they’re near the surface and under relatively high tension.
