A Madonna piercing is a labret stud worn on the side of the upper lip, in the position where singer Madonna has a beauty spot. Marilyn Monroe had such a spot in the same position, so it’s also sometimes referred to as a Marilyn or Monroe piercing.

Healing: As this piercing goes through muscle tissue, it will swell slightly more than a normal labret, but should still heal within about five to eight weeks.
